How to get to Luang Namtha
Luang Namtha may not be the easiest place to get to in the world. It isn't on any major thoroughfare - at least not yet. In a few years when the new international highway connecting Thailand to China is completed, Luang Namtha will be on the major highway between Paris and Singapore. And sometime in the next ten years the runway in Luang Namtha will be extended allowing larger aircraft to land.
But for the moment getting to Luang Namtha is part of the adventure of traveling here.
